Duration: 8 weeks (Tuesday, August 7 through Thursday, September 27)
Class schedule: Coach-led drills and technique work.
Who is coaching the class?
The weightlifting class will be coached by Adam Reese, who has more than 10 years experience coaching weightlifting.
How long will the class last?
The class will be one hour.
Will there be a WOD?
No. This will be strictly weightlifting. There will be no conditioning.
Can I do the CrossFit class and the weightlifting class?
Ideally, you would not want to do a CrossFit class and the weightlifting class in the same day. An ideal schedule for both classes might be Monday (CrossFit), Tuesday (weightlifting), Wednesday (CrossFit/Rest day), Thursday (weightlifting), Friday (CrossFit), Saturday (CrossFit/rest day).
Is this class only available for No Excuses CrossFit members?
No. Non-members of No Excuses CrossFit may attend as well.
Is this class only for advanced weightlifters?
No. This class is for everyone — beginner, intermediate, advanced. It will be adapted toward each individual’s strengths and weaknesses.
Can I drop-in to the weightlifting class from time-to-time?
No. Due to the programming of the class, there would be no benefit to drop-in to the weightlifting class from time-to-time. If you’re unable to make the first class and still want to do the class, we can work with you.
