How long have you been doing CrossFit?: 7 years
How did you first discover CrossFit and what made you decide to start? Lisa Orlandella shared her CrossFit story with me and I knew I needed to try a different direction regarding fitness
Tell us about your fitness/sports background: Very active with baseball and golf through high school and then nothing for 20 years. Started working out again when I started losing my energy to play golf.
What sorts of positive changes (mental, physical, emotional) have you noticed in your life since getting involved at No Excuses?: Completely changed my life of sitting around watching TV and being lazy to a lifestyle that revolves around being active and outdoors. I feel better about myself, have way more energy, and continue to learn the benefits of pushing myself.
Who or what keeps you coming back and motivated?: My NECF family always keeps me inspired and motivated to do better.
In what other ways do you use your fitness?: Tough Mudder and Spartan events, hiking, running and mountain biking.

Tell us about your hobbies and interests outside of the gym: Mountain biking, running, volunteering at Church and spending time with friends and family.
What advice do you have for someone just starting CrossFit or is on the fence about starting?: No Excuses is a great mantra and you will never know what you are truly capable of doing unless you begin the journey.
What do you love most about No Excuses?: I have always been a big fan of our coaching and camaraderie as a gym.
