Hugo Open 2019 Workouts

WOD 1: Say My Name

Submit your team name by Friday, Aug. 9 at 11:59 pm.

Notes: This workout is worth 100 points. If your team name is submitted on Aug. 10, it’s worth 50 points, Aug. 11 it’s worth 25 points. Aug. 12 it’s worth 1 point.

Remember there’s a prize for the best team name.

 

WOD 2: The Gauntlet 2.0

2 minutes each station (10 second transition)

15 Bar facing burpees + Deadlift (95/65)

25 Wall balls (14/10) + Shoulder (95/65) to overhead

10 Burpee Box Jump Over (24/20) + Squat Clean (95/65)

25 T2B + OHS (95/65)

10 Bar MU + Squat Snatch (95/65) 

Notes:

• One team member will perform one of the AMRAPs for the entire 2 minutes.

• Each person must do one of the AMRAPs. No one can do two movements.

• Workout will have five scores, one score for each AMRAP.

 

WOD 3: Kettlebell DT

6-minute AMRAP

9 Double KB DL (35/25#)

6 Double KB Clean (35/25#)

3 Double KB S2O (35/25#)

Notes:

• Two people, one person working at a time.

• One person must complete the 9-6-3 complex before the next person can go.

• This is relay style, meaning you can only do one round at a time. One person can not do two consecutive rounds.

• This will be one of two scores for this workout.

Rest 1 minute

9-minute AMRAP

9 Double KB DL (55/35#)

6 Double KB Clean (55/35#)

3 Double KB S2O (55/35#)

Notes:

• Three people, one person working at a time.

• One person must complete the 9-6-3 complex before the next person can go.

• Must complete the same order of athletes working.

• This is relay style, meaning you can only do one round at a time. One person can not do two consecutive rounds.

• This will be the second of two scores for this workout.

 

WOD 4: Down and Back

For Time:

(3 people working) 

AB x 35 cal

Devils press x 40 reps (20#)

DB Lunge x 45 ft (20#)

Box jump x 50 reps (20-inch)

-Then immediately when complete, the 2 other people plus one person that did the previous part complete:

(3 people working)

Pull up x 50

DB Box Step Over x 45 reps (20-inch/35#)

HS walk x 40ft

Row x 35 cal

Notes:

• One person working at a time.

• The ‘Down’ part of the workout will have three people working. The ‘Back’ part of the workout will have one person from the ‘Down’ part joining the two non-working people. In other words, one of the five teammates will do both parts of the workout. Everyone else does one part.

• 15-minute time cap

 

WOD 5: Sled Hell 6.0 (1.0)

15-minute AMRAP

10 Snatches (75/55#)

15 Thrusters (75/55#)

20-Meter Sled Push/Pull (300#)

Notes:

• One person working at a time for barbell movements.

• One male barbell of 75# and one female barbell of 55#.

• 1-5 athletes working at a time on the sled.

• Sled push/pull is 10 meters down and 10 meters back.
