Get Started

There are no up front fees or long-term contracts required to train at No Excuses Athletics-CrossFit. To get started right away, you have two options:

Option 1:

Assessment
Members are put through an assessment with No Excuses staff at initiation of membership. This is used to accommodate you with our unconventional training center and methods, take before pictures and record weight and body measurements. We also assess your current work capacity with a simple six minute baseline workout. This assessment is repeated every 3-6 months depending on athletes level and ability. This ensures we are always working towards progress.

What happens after Intro/Assessment session?
Your Coach will determine, based on the evaluation, which progressive path will be best for you.  You will either go into our Basics’ Program or our Foundations 101 Workshop.  If starting out in our Basics’ Program, you will work on increasing your competency in the fundamental movements of CrossFit, learn and implement top level fueling (diet) options for yourself, and master the basics (virtuosity).  After this you will then progress into our Foundations 101 Workshop and then from there, into our regular CrossFit Classes. This is the path that a majority of our Athletes take.

Foundations 101 Workshop
This is a two-week-long series of 8 classes that will teach you the basic techniques of the 9 essential movements of CrossFit as well as teach you the higher skilled movements of gymnastics and olympic weightlifting  and ramp you up to the full intensity of our CrossFit Classes.  The cost is $150.00 for the workshop. No Excuses Foundations 101 Workshops start every other week.

I’m super fit. I run and bike and do yoga. Can’t I just join your CrossFit classes and skip the No Excuses 101 Foundations Workshop and Basics’ Program?

Do you know what a thruster is? How about Tabata squats? Sumo Deadlift High pull? Can you clean and jerk safely and with efficacy? If those movements sound like a different language to you, nothing personal, but you need some work. We have established standards that you must meet in order to gain entry to our ongoing group CrossFit classes. Think of it this way, just because you can kick does not mean you can start in Karate as a Black Belt. Same with CrossFit. Pay your dues, learn your stuff. Suck it up buttercup.

Why are we more expensive than traditional gym?

At No Excuses CrossFit, you are personally coached in small group format at every workout at only a fraction of the cost of 1-on-1 personal training (typically priced at $80 to $100/hr). We are open 6 days a week and have over 165 hours of classes a month/ 38 hours of classes a week. Also, as a member of No Excuses CrossFit, you will have free access to any of our instructional clinics. Clinics include topics such as nutrition, olympic & powerlifting instruction, various skills, gym social events, and more.

Below are our offerings. We are very simple and transparent. All of our programs & pricing is published and out in the open. We offer a high quality product for a fair price.

Discounts for the Regular CrossFit Classes Only

  • 15% off for Military/LEO, Teachers/Students, Seniors 60+
    If you are active Military, Law Enforcement or Fire/First Response we greatly appreciate your selfless services. For that, you are afforded a 15% discount on all of our unlimited training options. Your honor pricing is $123.25/month for 12 months, $140.25/month for 6 months, $148.75/month for 4 months or $191.25/month for month to month unlimited training. Students/Teachers, you are not left out. With a valid student ID/Teacher ID you are given a 15% discount on any of our CrossFit training packages.
  • 15% off each membership for Family members
    For family members that like to train together, we offer a 15% discount to each family member who is an active member. There must be a minimum of two to keep that discount.
  • 5% off for any commitment paid in full
    There is a 5% discount for any multi-month training package paid in a lump sum.
  • What about the Basics’ Program? It is already heavily discounted so no other discounts will be applied to this program.

Month to Month Training:

For the commitment phobic or for those who simply don’t know where they will be in the next month, NEA (No Excuses Athletics-CrossFit) does offer month to month training. The cost is $225/month for unlimited training. This same option is available for Military/Law/Fire for $191.25/month. Family and student discounts do apply to this. This option is for experienced CrossFitters or those who have already completed the No Excuses 101 Foundation Workshop.

Interruption/Cancellation of Training:

If you have an injury, illness, upcoming travel or just need a break, you can suspend your membership from a period of 2 weeks to up to 3 months. If you decide to no longer train with No Excuses Athletics-CrossFit, no problem. You can opt out at any time. There is a fee equal to a single month’s training to do so. No questions asked.

Add ons:

  • Skill sessions: $60-$75/hour (Depending on the Coach) – includes 1-on-1 training with a Coach to work on a specific skill of your choosing.
  • Nutrition sessions: $75 – includes 1-on-1 meeting with a Coach to discuss a nutrition plan suited for your lifestyle. Includes initial consult and follow-up.

Drop In/Visitors:

If you are an experienced CrossFitter visiting from another gym or out of town- you are welcome. We ask for a $15 drop-in fee for wear & tear on our equipment, or we ask you to buy a shirt to show off to your friends. We also encourage a t-shirt exchange program. Bring your gyms T-shirt and exchange it with ours! :)   If you are active Military and are visiting, there is no drop-in fee required of you.
