Cameron Weeks

Cameron is originally is from Rexburg, Id., where he dabbled in many sports before excelling in the wrestling program, earning a spot on the podium in the state championships.

As a small farm town kid, he went right to work every summer and after high school in the construction and farm industry, but in his early twenties he attended college at Brigham Young University Idaho, majoring in Exercise Physiology.  He then moved to St Louis, Mo., and attended Logan University, School of Chiropractic.  In addition to receiving his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Logan University, he also obtained a Masters Degree in Sports Science and Rehabilitation and has held licenses and practiced in Utah and Georgia.

He has had the opportunity to work with multiple collegiate athletic organizations both in practices and on the sidelines including at the SEC level, worked with nationally ranked athletes competing in Strongman, Powerlifting and Crossfit events; as well as recreational athletes performing in about every category of events from ultra-endurance to traditional ‘4 season’ sports.

He began coaching and utilizing Crossfit programming in undergraduate school, and formed the CrossFit club that received funding to open a ‘box’ at his campus gym that still operates today.  He has been coaching in CrossFit gyms since 2010, having coached in St Louis, Mo., Sandy, Utah, and Salt Lake City, Utah.

He now lives in Suwanee with his amazing wife, Lize, their beautiful daughter, Luna, and is excited to be a part of the No Excuses family and to help everyone “embrace the suck” that sometimes happens during the workout.  His favorite quote is a popular one in the Crossfit world, coming from Pat Sherwood.

“Make it the best hour of your day, stay safe, turn up the music, high five some people, and blow off some steam.”

Most of us are just looking to feel better, improve our quality of life, and have a good time doing it.  Crossfit allows all of those things, and without you realizing it you notice little things, your stress levels go down.  You sleep better.  Your mood improves.  The list goes on and on…if you’ve never been involved in the community, please don’t let someone’s opinion of Crossfit undermine what you can achieve here.  I look forward to working with you!
