Spirit of the Open 20.2: Nathan Rushin

Each year at the CrossFit Games, they honor someone with the Spirit of the Games award. This honor goes to the ‘athlete who embodies the spirit of the sport.’

Each week during Saturday Morning Showdown, No Excuses CrossFit will recognize a member it feels represented the Spirit of the Games. This week’s honor goes to ….

Nathan Rushin took an eight-month hiatus from CrossFit. In less than three months back in the gym, Nathan has returned to old form. He posted an impressive score of 758 reps in the scaled version of 20.2. That was good enough to rank 254th in the world in the 50-54 age.

“He just kept moving, which is what you have to do in this workout to get a good score,” No Excuses coach Brandon Brigman said.

Congrats Nathan! We are proud of all your hard work!
