What keeps you coming back/motivated?
“Beating JT and Brandon in WODs.”

How did you find CrossFit?
“Several guys on my rugby team were going to [CrossFit] Paragon and invited me to try it out to work on our conditioning. After the season was over Nicole asked me what I wanted for my birthday, “I guess a month membership to CF285”. After a couple of classes, I cancelled my other gym membership and I was hooked.”

What is your athletic background (If applicable)?
“Played Rugby at Clemson University.”

How has CrossFit changed your life, lifestyle, level of fitness?
“I’ve dropped about 35-40lbs and keep it off.”

What is the one thing you have done here that you never thought you could do? (muscle up, double unders, heavy deadlift, run a mile, etc.)
“Ring muscle up.”

“Greg Hayes doing strict muscle ups.”

Any advice for new members?
“Go out there and do it. No amount of prepping for Crossfit will prepare you for Crossfit. We all died during our first WOD and for some reason keep coming back to do again and again.”

Coach Brandon’s Take:
“Geoff came to No Excuses CrossFit with a year or two of CrossFit experience under his belt. He quickly established himself as one of the stronger athletes in the gym and routinely puts up some of the best scores and times on the whiteboard. Geoff is always up for a challenge and a little trash talking will get him motivated.”
