What keeps you coming back/motivated?
“My improvements. I’ve come this far (improved my skills, increased this much weight on my lifts) what else can I do??”
How did you find CrossFit?
“I wanted to find something that was similar in movements to my first job I had out of college. I was in the best shape of my life when I had that job (elephant keeper). It was very labor intensive; lifting 30-35 bales of hay (95-100#) every day, using a pressure washer for three hours straight every day, etc. So when I moved to Georgia I researched for something different than a traditional gym. CrossFit was/IS the perfect fit.”
What is your athletic background (If applicable)?
“I played soccer for seven years, swimming for three years, dance for five years, softball one year, lacrosse one year, gymnastics nine years.”
How has CrossFit changed your life, lifestyle, level of fitness?
“I’ve regained my strength, went from a size 10 to a size 4, and my energy level has increased significantly. I am truly amazed.”
What is the one thing you have done here that you never thought you could do? (muscle up, double unders, heavy deadlift, run a mile, etc.)
“I never thought I could run a 5K.”
What motivates/inspires you?
“My weaknesses motivate me.”
What is your proudest CrossFit achievement?
Butterfly pull ups. (I’m all about the gymnastics aspect; shocking I know!)”

“Strict and kipped handstand push ups / strict, butterfly, and kipped pull ups / 5K run.”
Hobbies/Interests outside of CrossFit?
“Reading, riding bikes, horseback riding and hiking.”
What is your favorite meal?
“A really good unique burger.”

“Stick with a routine; set yourself up for success. You’ll find yourself reaching your set goals faster. “
