Alexis Mount can’t officially compete in the CrossFit Open for another two years, but she’s already shown promise in the sport of fitness.
The 12-year-old daughter of Coach Chris Mount unofficially competed in the Open this year and crushed the WODs week after week.
She did the final WOD of the Open — thrusters and chest to bar pull ups — with Rx female standards and put up an impressive score.
Alexis can’t legally compete in the CrossFit Open until she turns 14, but she is the future of the sport and she embodies the spirit of the CrossFit Games.
