Two weeks ago, Laura Moore got her first-ever muscle up. A week later, muscle ups appeared in the CrossFit Open 13.3. Needless to say she was a little concerned about how she would do in the WOD. The workout consisted of 150 wall balls, 90 doubles unders and 30 muscle ups during a 12-minute AMRAP. It was the same workout during the Open last year and Laura scored 240 reps, which included no muscle ups.
After a week of solid practice on muscle ups, Laura go two after a grueling shoulder burn. When she attempted the WOD again three days later, she got four muscle ups.
This WOD was implemented during the Open for athletes to see how much they have improved in one year. Laura certainly showed that and embodied the spirit of the CrossFit Games.
