How long have you been CrossFitting? Since March 2012

What keeps you coming back/motivated?
“Seeing myself improve all the time and being an example to my kids. They’ll probably have the same body issues I do, so I want to start them out with a good attitude about fitness and food.”

How did you find CrossFit?
“A friend at work kept telling me I would love it, so I bought the Groupon.”

What is your athletic background (If applicable)?
“It all started with that Cindy Crawford workout video I had in high shcool. Never played sports, but I’ve always being fighting the fat. I’ve done all the aerobics classes, biking, running, rowing.”

How has CrossFit changed your life, lifestyle, level of fitness?
“Now I think I can lift everything.”

What is the one thing you have done here that you never thought you could do? (muscle up, double unders, heavy deadlift, run a mile, etc.)
“PULL UPS! I always thought of a pull up as something boys did. Then I walked into No Excuses and saw girls doing them… and thought to myself ‘I’m gonna do that one day.'”

What motivates/inspires you?
“Laura Moore is a huge inspiration to me. She’s just a badass and I love watching her improve.”

What is your proudest CrossFit achievement?
“FINALLY getting a pullup!”

Name one goal/personal achievement you would like to achieve through CrossFit?
“I’m looking forward to a handstand push up and a muscle up.”

What goals have you achieved in CrossFit?
“I finally have arms that don’t jiggle!”

Hobbies/Interests outside of CrossFit?
“Organic gardening. I started my mini-farm this year!”

What is your favorite meal?
“Grilled fish tacos or pork loin on a fire.”

Any advice for new members?
“Just keep showing up. And keep records of your workouts.”
